When Martin Peters renovated his California backyard, he left one corner open—hoping to turn it into the ultimate outdoor entertaining space. He wasn’t sure whether to build a traditional shed or a pergola, until he discovered the trend of pub sheds. Popularized in the UK, pub sheds are now making waves in American backyards, and Martin instantly knew it was the perfect fit.

“We just really fell in love with the idea of a pub shed,” Martin shared. “We thought it would be nice to have it open right up onto our patio for a big outdoor room.”
