From Tool Shed to She Shed: Marcella’s Backyard Transformation

It All Started with a Tool Shed

The Cannon family needed extra storage at their new home, and like many homeowners, they turned to Tuff Shed® for a solution. But years later, that same tool shed would become so much more—a cozy backyard She Shed for Marcella.

When they first visited The Home Depot, Marcella and her husband were impressed with the Tuff Shed display lineup. "The displays were really great, and we were able to customize the paint and the roof to match our house," Marcella shares. Their 8×12 TR-700 was a perfect fit for tool storage—at least at first.

Over time, Marcella kept an eye on the shed, imagining a different future for it. Eventually, she struck a deal: her husband would get full use of the garage for storage, and Marcella would claim the shed for herself.

A Dream Shed Takes Shape

When the Cannon’s first customized their TR-700, they already had She Shed dreams in mind. They added custom vintage windows to the design, setting the stage for what was to come.
