George’s Backyard Addition

George’s small, outdated garden shed wasn’t cutting it. While searching for a new storage solution, he came across the Tuff Shed displays at his local Home Depot and knew our team could deliver the perfect solution. He wanted a larger shed, designed to match his home and built onsite. Our team delivered on all fronts, and George is now happily enjoying his new backyard addition.

Before coming to the Tuff Shed team, George shopped around with local shed providers. “I couldn’t really get anyone to build me what I wanted,” laughs George. “Then I worked with my Tuff Shed rep, and he designed the exact thing I needed.” The result is a 14×20 TR-800, an upgrade from his old 8×12 shed. He added a few enhancements to match the style of his home, including an 8/12 roof pitch. And he made sure to maximize his storage space with a workbench and shelf running along the perimeter of the shed.

George’s backyard has a steep slope, and he needed to level it. He worked with a local cement contractor to remove his old building and pour piers to create a level surface for the new shed. And on installation day, our team of installers got to work quickly. “I was amazed,” says George. “That big shed got built in a day, and I could start using it right away.”

As the backyard is a point of pride to George and his wife, their new shed truly needed to add style to their landscaping. After the new building was installed, they added skirting around the piers, custom steps, window boxes, and lighting. And the final result is truly a shed they can take pride in, even on the city garden tour. “It really looks so nice, and we couldn’t be happier with both the shed and working with Tuff Shed. In fact, I’m already planning on adding a new garage from Tuff Shed as well,” laughs George.
