Michaela’s Oceanside Studio

Artist Michaela turned a Tuff Shed TB-700 into a dreamy backyard art studio, framed by her garden and filled with creative energy.
Picture an idyllic studio with an ocean breeze, garden view, and lots of space to create. That’s just what artist Michaela has. Her Tuff Shed barn from the Home Depot is a perfect creative escape, right in her backyard.
“Every time we’ve gone to the Home Depot for the past few years I’ve always looked at the Tuff Shed buildings,” says Michaela. “When we finally bought a house I knew I wanted a separate space for my art and a Tuff Shed building would be perfect.” After picking up a brochure on one of her display walks, Michaela chose a 10x12 TB-700 complete with double doors and plenty of windows. Framed by her backyard garden, the barn makes an ideal studio.
“The best part about it all is having a space that really feels like my own,” says Michaela of her studio. “It’s so dreamy to walk out into my garden and see a big, inviting red barn surrounded by roses.”
