His new 12x16 TR-800 was fully customized to become the ideal observatory. Instead of the traditional ranch-style roof, John requested a single slope roof, to accommodate a future observatory dome on top. “It works really well,” says John. “I’m trying to convince my wife that it’s for storage and an observatory, and not a second home for me.”
